Growing up in Houston meant lots of time at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I was (and still am) fascinated by Rodeo Season and the unique country glamour that comes along with it. I draw inspiration from the boots I wish I owned and the "good ole boy" stories I wish I could hear. My Texas roots are clear in the mixture of vibrant color and western imagery. Give me some Dolly Parton on the speakers, some phrases your Nana would lay on you, and enough rhinestones to blind me. 

P.S. I'd like to take this time to apologize to my neighbors for belting "9 to 5" for hours on end while I glue rhinestones onto each canvas.
